About the Inventor Bob Hart, past owner of Chimtech, a full service chimney building, restoration, and maintenance company located in Houston, TX. With 23 years in the chimney industry, he has worked on over 20,000 chimneys, stacks, fireplaces, stoves, and vents. Building, repairs, maintenance, restoration, inspection and documentation are his areas of specialization. Inventor of the Hart-Rumford Fireplace Forms - with which any mason can build a properly performing fireplace every time. Has worked on and maintained fireplaces and chimneys at the Texas Governors Mansion and the nations White House. Authored CSIA’s Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (C-DET) Certification Manual. Bob and his wife Mary live in beautiful Pagosa Springs in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and have 3 children and 1 grandchild.
